Rei got hooked on the numbers side of business early and made it official with a Bachelor's in Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno. From there he jumped into supply chain management at one of the largest private CPG companies in the world, where he learned how real operations actually run, coffee and all.
Next came working for a merchant banking firm, alongside private equity firms and their portfolio companies to find and target businesses worth acquiring. That is where he caught the deal bug. Eventually he found his home on the sell side, working hand in hand with main street and lower middle market owners and helping close more than $40 million in transactions. Put simply, Rei helps people sell the business they poured their life into, and he does not take that lightly.
When he is not in a deal, you will probably find Rei out for a run, lifting weights, deep in a classic novel, or taking a long walk with his black chow chow (doesn't take long), Kodak.
